Over all pleasent stay.rooms are neat and clean.staff is polite.small in house resturant will be more good. Will give 5 out of 5 rating.will prefer to stay in ramana instead of other costly hotels. Keep growing

It was a quick tour to pondi, and booked Ramana residency thru goibibo, Quite and nice place, good ambience, friendly staff, cheerfull owner vijaya Srinivasan mam, njoyed my 4 days stay very nicely. Felt like home. Location doesn't have any views as such and away from traffic.

We had an excellant stay at Ramanan Res,especially with the service/help rendered by the Manager,Mrs Vijaya Sreenivasan & ofcourse Mr.Amal Raj.Rooms are spacious and hygenic bathroom,24hrs hot water.Delicious breakfast which is complementary.Calm location though very near to the main road and new bus stand.Will definitely recommend to my relatives and friends for a safe and peacefull stay in Pondicherry...

Ramana residency is on a side street off a busy road, but just this short distance from the thoroughfare makes the stay serene. The rooms are spacious (we rented a smaller room for 2 persons as well as a family room for 2 adults and 2 kids). The rooms came with refrigerators, and the family room had a balcony. Parking is a short distance away. The front desk staff is very knowledgeable about the local attractions and helpful, as well as courteous. All staff was very friendly and courteous. Breakfast (South Indian fare - Pongal, vada, idly, filter coffee) is included, and was quite good. Just 10-15 min drive from the ashram and Gandhi beach. Will definitely recommend this hotel without any reservations.
